Black Tea For Hair Treatment

There are several pros to using black tea rather than standard hair dye. The biggest and most serious reason is that the chemicals in hair dye have been linked to the development of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and other forms of cancer in women who regularly use hair dye over long periods of time. Despite this, the FDA does not regulate the chemicals in hair dye, so it may be wise to switch to a more natural form of coloring your hair.

Instructions: Add 2-4 tea bags to 2 cups of boiled water ( this may vary depending on how much hair you have), let it steep for a few hours or over night. Take the tea and pour on your hair after it has been shampooed, let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Then make sure you deep condition your hair after it has sat for 20-30 minutes adding the deep conditioner on top of your rinse.

Put 3 spoons of black tea in 100 ml water and boiled it for 10 minutes, let it cool and then pour 2 spoons of castor oil and one spoon of coconut oil in the black tea water.

Brew 2 cups of strong tea. When its warm enough pour it all over your hair and leave the rest on for 3-4 hours and then rinse your hair gently with water. Do this 2-3 times and you should notice the colour change. Black Tea gives your hair a darker shade than your natural hair colour.
