This summer is predicted to be the hottest as the temperature is said to shoot to maximum. There isn’t a need to worry as we give you simple ideas to smell nice and fresh all day long. Take a look to prevent perspiration and for better skin protection.
Our body needs extra care during the season. The tiredness experienced due to excessive heat of the sun is usually temporary. The heat of the body increases and the skin looks dry. It is essential for people to intake increased amount of water during summer.
It is also wise to drink other fluids such as juices, soups etc to supply nutrition to the body and keep the body hydrated. This will reduce the effects of excess sweating as it not only causes the water level in the body to reduce but it may also benefit the body with nutrients required by the body.
You can use the huge variety of body scrubs that exist in the market, all prices, or create your own scrub at home. If you’re on the beach, what better to use: 3 cups fine sea salt, ¾ cup olive oil and the same amount of sweet almond oil and 3 drops of essential oil you want. You can also make yoghurt scrub, which contains lactic acid that hydrates and moisturizes the skin. You only need 1 and half yogurt and a handful of polenta.

Avoid too tight (hip hugging clothes). Wear light coloured, soft and crisp cotton fabrics. Prefer organically dyed clothes as they wont irritate your skin. Wash your denims with sweet smelling fabric conditioners (such as comfort). Purchase fragrant potpourris for your wardrobe.
Avoid using sunscreen. Potentially deadly skin cancer (melanoma) is NOT caused by the sun, but by artificial chemicals in our food, air, and… laboratory-produced body care products! Moreover, exposure to the sun is the only way for the body to convert and use Vitamin D – one of the most important fat-soluble vitamins. A word of caution though, use sun in moderation.
