Exfoliate Your Skin

Exfoliating is a treatment where the dead cells on the surface of the skin are removed by abrading it with a sponge. You can exfoliate any area of your skin. When you exfoliate your skin, be sure to choose a product that is suitable to the condition of your face.

Exfoliating helps to remove the wrinkles, and fine lines from your skin. It speeds up skin shedding by removing the dead cells on the uppermost layer of the skin to expose the finer and newer tissue beneath.

Exfoliating Different Types of Skin
1. If you have normal skin, two times a week should be enough to remove the dry skin cells.

2. For individuals with oily skin, exfoliation should be performed at least three times each week. This is because the excess oil  traps more dead skin cells, clogging the pores.

3. Individuals with dry skin should take extra precautions when determining how to exfoliate their skin properly. The exfoliation process can take away the moisture on your skin.

Red alert
After using your exfoliating product, your skin should be a pleasant pink and have a slight tingling sensation. If skin is red, peeling, burning or painful, you’re being overzealous and should reduce the frequency of treatments or consider a gentler product.
