Pedicures in the Winter

Our feet are often the most ignored part of the body, especially in the winter when the casual flip-flops or the stylish sandals become redundant, and are replaced by socks and shoes to protect the toes from the cold dry air. However, the dry winter wind dehydrates the soles, leading to cracked heels, thereby increasing the need for foot care.

The first thing in pedicure that you should do is to remove the old nail polish from the nail . After that take a tub and fill with warm water. Squeeze one lemon in it or mix 2 tablespoon vinegar.Sprinkle your favorite bath salt in it.Soak your feet in it for 10-15 minutes. Warm water helps to make the sole of your feet soft.

Massaging your feet and lower legs loosens your muscles and helps with joint performance, which can be greatly affected by the cold weather also causing pain and discomfort. The massage also helps with circulation of the foot and lower leg. Bettering circulation is beneficial for preventing greater health issues.
