While doing a beauty editorial for European Cosmopolitan Magazine, I got the chance to play with some new looks for the upcoming season. Here are some key trends to watch out for:
1. Soft copper shimmer
Copper and gold are THE colors for eyes coming next spring. But not the heavy duty variety. Soft loose shimmers, that glow. Check out Toni & Tina’s new Cosmic Loose Powders to create the look. The new way to way it is around the entire eye, framing the lashes.
2. Lavendar/White Eyes
According to Bobbi Brown, her new Spring 2000 line will include white shimmer and soft lavendar for the eyes.
3. Emphasis on Blush
Blush is still a trend going strong, but the new difference is a new color. Gone are the pinky/plum tones to make way for a soft orangey glow. Look for popsicle orange shimmers to be strong. Matching orange lip gloss is also big.
4. Mascara is back
Not just mascara, but the new way to wear it. On both top and bottom lashes. Gives a younger, fresher look to your eyes. A refreshing change.
