It’s summer, time to hit the pool, the beach, water the flowers you have planted. Summers are when you want to let your hair down and have some fun. Letting your hair down might just be one of the things you shouldn’t do in the summers.

It’s the enemy of your hairs because it is consist of heat, UVA, UVB rays that can damage your hair. Applying sunscreen to the hair and scalp will protect both from the sun’s damaging rays and also wear the cap and scarf from the protection of the sun rays.
Use hair products that contain SPF. You should Use hair products that contain SPF protection. Hair products that contain moisturizers and SPF will blocks out the harmful rays of the sun, preventing long-term damage.

Limit your use of “hot” items on your hair such as a blow dryers and curling irons.If you need to use a “hot” item, use a leave in conditioner before using the item on your hair.Avoid taking hot showers or washing your hair in hot water. Use warm or cool water instead; the heat can dry out and/or damage your hair and skin.

Drink plenty of water, eat a healthy balanced diet. Don’t cut the protein or fat too much, as it will show in your hair! Rinse your hair immediately with fresh water when stepping out of the swimming pool. Even salt pools create chlorine. The effects of chlorine are easier to prevent than remove. Try a professional clarifying shampoo if you have already made the mistake but use only according to your stylist’s instructions as it can be over-used!
